One of the gifts my sweet hubby got me for my birthday were these AWESOME water colors.
They are SO creamy. And the colors are bright. I decided to play around and try some emboss resist. I pulled out some stamp sets with big sentiments to heat emboss with white embossing powder.
I chose the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Mama Elephant Birthday Wishes set and the Missing you always sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Big Scripty Greetings.
After I heat embossed the sentiment, I taped the paper down to my desk top and wet the paper down, a lot, with a wide, flat, brush. Then I picked up some of the greens and blues and just droped them over the card panel.
The colors went on just like I imagined. I let the water do it's job and left it to dry. After it was dry, I added a second sentiment from the stamp set, trimmed the panel, rounded the corners and placed it on a white card base.
