He's Making a List....

One of my favorite stamp sets from this years Stampin' up! Holiday catalog is the Santa's List stamp set.  I love the sketched images and there is an outside and inside sentiment included. I love that!

For my bog challenge, I chose the sketch from Create with Connie and Mary challenge.  It thought it would work perfect with this stamp set.

I liked the banner under the embelishment and thought, that would be a great place for the image! So here is my take on this sketch.

I started with a Crumb Cake card base, regular side fold style.  I inked the edges with Crumb Cake ink for a softer look.  I cut one piece of the DSP from Season of Style paper pack in half and the cut it down to one piece being 2 inches and the other was about 1.5 inches.  I stamped the image from Santa's List in Cherry Cobbler ink onto Very Vanilla card stock and cut it out with the Deco Labels Framelits. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink as well on Crumb Cake paper, the Very Vanilla was too light.  I added color to the skin with the only Copic marker I own, E00 and cut the corners of the DSP with a deco corner chomper.

For the inside, I cut another, larger Deco Lable in Very Vanilla and some more strips of the same DSP and stamped the inside sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink.  I added some Dazzeling Details to the front of the image, because Christmas cards need bling!

I hope it shows up well.

Thanks for looking!
